• Attend the School of Dance of Paris (Ecole de Danse du Marais) through the IES Paris program

• Study French Language and Culture

• Take classes in Ballet, Modern Dance, Flamenco Sevillanes, and Danse Baroque

• Earn 6 credits of French while studying relevant and dynamic topics related to the practice of medicine

• Experience life à la française: homestay program with French families offers an authentic cultural experience

• Travel on the weekends to Italy, Switzerland, or Spain, or hit up the French Riviera and mingle with the locals

• Take classes in areas such as Literature and Medicine, France in the 21st Century, Illness and Society, or an area of independent interest

• Internship in a Nice Hospital

  • Study Colloquial Arabic


  • Take Electives in English such as North Africa Cultural Identities (Fall & Spring) or (Communication and Internship) Managing Communication in Arab Organizations: A Moroccan Case Study (F & S) or (Gender Studies/ Sociology) Gender and Society in North Africa and Beyond and many more


  • Take Electives In French such as (Rel.) Islam in Morocco and North Africa (S & F)


  • Experience life ŕ la marocaine: homestay program with French-speaking Maroccan families that offer an authentic cultural experience


  • Travel on the weekends to the Atlas Mountains and the neighboring cities of Fez or Casablanca and mingle with the locals

  • Intensive Language Study: Beginning/Intermediate/ Advanced Modern Standard Arabic (6 cr.) Students have the option to study either Tunisian Colloquial Arabic or Modern Standard Arabic.


  • Take Electives in English such as Emerging Identities in North Africa Seminar (6 cr.) or ANTH 3500 Field Study Seminar (2 cr.)


  • Intensive French Language Study: Intermediate to Advanced French (4 cr.)


  • Experience life ŕ la tunisienne: homestay program with French-speaking Tunisian families that offer an authentic cultural experience


  • Travel on the weekends to the neighboring cities of Sfax and Zarzia and mingle with the locals
