DAAD

The DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst) has lots of opportunities for advanced students and graduating seniors to study in Germany for up to a year. If you are interested, contact Professor Forester ASAP so you can get some advice and help with the application. Information can be found directly from the DAAD website:

Hochschulsommerkurse - Take a 3-4 week language course in Germany, courtesy of the German government!
EDU-DE - Study abroad for a year in Germany.
Deutschlandjahr - For graduating Seniors. Spend a year in Germany after you graduate, again courtesy of the German government.
High Tech in Munich - One month Summer program in German language and engineering/industry. Excellent opportunity for science/engineering students.

These are excellent opportunities but they are competitive so you'll need to plan ahead with your application.
