Delta Phi Alpha German Honor Society presents an
annual book prize to the student in German who has been chosen
for this honor by the members of the German Department.

A cash award to the Senior German Major whose interest
and achievement in the German language and literature has been
most significant. |
This award was established in 1978
to honor the memory of Barbara E. Geeting, a 1978 graduate in German,
who was killed in a tragic accident with her grandparents shortly
after her graduation. This award is granted to a graduating senior
who has achieved distinction in German. |
