Brief Biography

As a teacher and researcher, Profesora Johnson specializes in language teaching and teaching methods. Her favorite courses to teach are first year language courses and methods courses for language teachers in educational and in community settings. With experience and credentials in Spanish and ESL teaching at every age level from pre-K to university and community settings, she also has first hand experience negotiating language learning both as an avid student of languages and as a parent with her own children. She is passionate about discovering and sharing new insights into how people grow through language study. Profesora Johnson prefers to teach her courses in a hybrid/blended format (part online, part face-to-face) and describes herself as a technophile, excited to discover new media, gadgets and approaches.
