THE NEW SPANISH MAJOR

Students may take Linguistics 364 (Intro to Descriptive Linguistics) instead of Spanish 462. Spanish 322 is required for Span 341; Spanish 341 is required for Spanish 342 and 344. Spanish 342 or 344 are required for Spanish 441, 443 and 499.

In addition, the major requires Education 384 Methods of Teaching Foreign Languages. This requirement will not be waived if the student has taken another methods class for another major.
