Hope Blooms:
May / June program on Mexico’s
Oaxacan Pacific coast

Program emphasis is on service learning in small,
poor Mexican towns.

Internships assigned to students according to their majors, skills,
and interests. Work done in Spanish. 4 credits received.

Seminar course on
Vocation and Social Entrepreneurship: available for Senior Seminar
Credit or other. 4 credits received.

Home stays with wonderful
local Mexican families, all of whom are members of Habitat for
Humanity.

Requires a minimum of 4 semesters of college-level
Spanish by the fall of the academic year preceding program participation

Requires a 2-credit
prep course in the Spring before leaving for Mexico.
