HEI 10-Week Summer Incubator

"The Hope Entrepreneurship Initiative is a new program at Hope geared toward students who are looking to create and implement business plans. In the same way a chemistry student can do summer research here at Hope, an HEI student can do research on their business plan over the summer" -- Lance Pellow

Program Description:

10-10-5: 10 students are supported for 10 weeks with advisors, mentors, networking, workshops, and $5000.  Between May and early July students receive the following benefits:

  1. Free food
  2. Workspace
  3. Group excursions
  4. Workshops
  5. Financial support
  6. Mentors and advisers
  7. Sharpening of business and prfessional skills
  8. Access to networks
  9. A greater understanding of customer development, customer validation, customer creation, and company building
  10. A greater understanding of self, potential, and calling


To apply, submit a letter of application by January 1.

Eligibility

  • Full-time undergraduate Hope students in good standing
  • Any major
  • LDRS 231 (B- grade or higher)
  • Pitch competition
