Application Deadline - February 8

Welcome to the application section for the Mellon Scholars Program! Please read through all the instructions, then complete the application and submit the following materials.

1. One recommendation from a Hope faculty member who can accurately evaluate your qualifications.

When you request your recommendation, you may send your professor the following link to access the recommendation form. http://www.hope.edu/academic/mellon/recommendation.html

2. A sample of your best academic writing. A project of any length that best represents your skills or potential as a researcher in the arts and humanities.

3. Optional: Samples of your digital work. If you wish, you may also upload or provide a link to a sample of your work with digital technology or new media.

When you have prepared item #2 (and #3, if desired), you may complete the following form.

2. Click on "Enter Secure Area" and enter your ID# and PIN
3. Click on "Registrar and Student Accounts
4. Click on "Student Records"
5. Click on "Academic Transcript"
6. Click on "Submit"--no need to change any of the settings
7. Copy and paste your fall courses and grades into the box provided
