Christina M. Hornbach is Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Music Education at Hope College, Holland, Michigan. She received a Bachelor of Music and a Master of Music from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor), and a Doctor of Philosophy from Michigan State University (East Lansing). She has taught music in the public schools in Michigan and Minnesota as well as early childhood music at Michigan State University's Community Music School and Eastern Michigan University’s Community Music Academy.

Dr. Hornbach recently founded an early childhood music program for the Holland, Michigan community. She has presented workshops at the state, regional, and national MENC In-Service Conferences, as well as local and international venues. She has published an article in the Journal of Research in Music Education.

Dr. Hornbach is currently serving as President of the Michigan Music Educators Association.
