The Hope College Nursing Program is approved by the Michigan Board of Nursing and is accredited through the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

Nursing Program Seeking Re-accreditation

The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) Board of Commissioners granted the Hope College Nursing Department a five-year accreditation in April 2004. This was the maximum number of years that can be awarded for a new program. The department is scheduled for a re-accreditation site visit in October 2008. The Nursing Department would like to invite alumni, college faculty and staff, healthcare agency representatives, and other community members to provide comments to CCNE regarding the nursing program’s qualifications for accreditation. The CCNE evaluation team will have access to these written comments, but at no time during the review process are comments shared with the Nursing Department.

Written and signed comments will be accepted by CCNE until September 5, 2008 at the following address:
