NCLEX-RN© (national nursing exam) results

  • May 2007-April 2008 = 93%
  • May 2006-April 2007 = 91%
  • These pass rates are above both state and national averages.
  • Over the past few years, the Hope College Nursing Department has instituted several components throughout the curriculum that help students achieve success on the NCLEX-RN© licensure exam.
  • These curriculum components, along with a committed faculty and much effort on the part of students, have led to our high success rate.
  • We are very proud of our graduates for achieving such stellar results!

Highlights of the Summer 2007 Hope Nursing Alumni Survey

• 1 and 3 year alumni of the Hope nursing program
• 54% responded to the survey
• 97.4% reported full time employment in nursing

• 94.5% would be inclined to recommend the Hope nursing program to a friend.
• 97% agreed that the Hope nursing program enhanced their ability to apply research based knowledge as a basis for practice (50% have participated in a research or evidence-based project since graduation)
• 94% agreed that the Hope nursing program enhanced their ability to assess predictive factors that influence the health of patients
