Jennifer Hampton

Jennifer Hampton

Jennifer Hampton moved to Hope in the fall of 2007. She received her Ph.D. in physics (minor in chemistry) in 2002 from Cornell University and did postdoctoral research at The Pennsylvania State University. She is a graduate of Oberlin College and the University of Cambridge. Before joining the Hope faculty, she taught physics for two years at Washington & Jefferson College.

Jenniferís research interests are at the interface of physics, chemistry, and materials science and are focused on understanding and controlling the fabrication of metallic thin films and nanostructures.
