Advanced Lab

Advanced Lab is the training ground for research scientists. You will find a variety of experiments ranging from the classics, such as Cavendish's famous gravitation experiment, to experiments associated with current research, such as scanning electron microscopy and plasma spectroscopy.

General Physics Lab

General Physics labs are a starting point for laboratory work. Students investigate mechanics, heat, electric circuits, quantum spectroscopy and optics. While performing the experiments you will learn analytical methods and use analytical software that physicists use in their research.

AP Courses: AP credit covers only the lecture. The department's policy on granting lab credit with AP is found here.
