Overview:
This course provides an introduction
to American political institutions. Topics surveyed include the U.S.
Constitution, parties and elections, Congress and the Presidency, the
impact of interest groups and the media, and public policy debates
on such issues as U.S. foreign policy, social issues, economic policy,
and more.
This course
fulfills the Social Science requirement.
*Note: Dr. Booke's POL 100 course meets the Global Learning
Domestic requirement.
