A
variety of internship programs are available through the department
of Political
Science to fulfill the experiential course major requirement. Field
experiences at the local, state, or national levels of government
or with an attorney or political
party
organization
are possible. A
one-hour campaign internship is also available during every national
election year in conjunction with POL 395
- Campaign Management.
The student
will work in the internship and - under
the
direction of a staff member - prepare a paper related in some
manner to his/her field
