How to Declare a Psychology Major

We are pleased that you would like to declare a major in Psychology. To make your declaration official you need to complete the following steps:

1. Complete the major declaration form (which you can get from the registrar's office or the Psychology Department's office) and turn it in to Kathy Adamski, the Psychology Department Administrative Assistant (phone 395-7730), Schaap Science Center 1110.

2. Complete the Psychology Major Interest Form and turn it in to Kathy Adamski.

3. Sign-up with Kathy Adamski to attend the next scheduled Psychology Major Declaration meeting. The meetings are generally on the first Tuesday of the month from 11:00-11:45 a.m. The major declaration meetings for the spring semester of 2008 are: January 8, February 5, March 4, and April 8. The meetings are in the Schaap Science Center 1102.

4. Attend the Psychology Major Declaration meeting, at which time you will learn about the psychology major, have your picture taken, learn about the Psychology Club, and be assigned an advisor in the Psychology Department.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call or e-mail Scott VanderStoep at 395-7417 or vanderstoep@hope.edu
