From 1972 to 2002 the Hope College Psychology Department was located in Peale Science Center. In March 2002 the College began a major expansion and renovation of the Science Center, requiring the department to move to a temporary location at 9. E. 10th Street for two years. In July 2004 the Psychology Department moved into its new office space and renovated laboratories in the Science Center.
