Brief Biography
John Shaughnessy teaches research methods, practical aspects of memory,
Senior seminar, and advanced research lab. His favorite professional activity is collaborating
with students
on
research examining how to improve people’s memory for names. He
is co-author of three research methods books. John used to play racquetball,
basketball,
and softball. Now he just watches other people play. For recreation, John
takes long walks
with his wife, Paula, and their golden retriever, Josie.
