To Apply

To participate in this minor students must apply and be admitted. In order to apply, students need to have taken or be enrolled in the minor’s prerequisite courses.

If you are interested in the minor, you should enroll in the prerequisite courses: MIN 201 and REL 220, 240, OR 260. MIN 201 is a 2-credit course that will be offered every spring during the first half of the semester. Applications for acceptance into the minor will be due in March, shortly after the course ends. You will be notified of your status before you register for courses for the next semester.

NOTE: In 2007-2008, MIN 201 will be offered in both the fall and the spring semesters to ensure that the class of 2009 has the opportunity to enroll in and complete the minor. If you are in the class of 2009 and interested in the minor you should enroll in MIN 201 in Fall 2007 (and make sure you have completed or are enrolled in one of the 200-level REL courses listed above). Applications for acceptance into the minor will be due in October, and you will be notified of your status before you register for courses for the next semester. If you are accepted, you will take your track’s concentration course in Spring 2008 and then do your internship and take the capstone course sequence during 2008-2009. Priority for enrollment in MIN 201 in Fall 2007 will be given to current sophomores. As space is available, current freshmen may enroll in it.
