Hope Summer Repertory Theatre

For those interested in getting professional experience on campus, the Hope Summer Repertory Theatre (HSRT) provides students with an exciting opportunity to work side-by-side with seasoned professionals, graduate students, and advanced undergraduates from all over the country. Founded in 1972, HSRT produces eight shows on a rotating schedule each summer, including two main stage musicals, three comedies and dramas, ranging from classical to contemporary, a cabaret production at an off-campus site, and two children’s performances in the DeWitt Studio Theatre. With a company of about 100 people—performers, directors, designers, technicians, stage managers, and administrative staff—HSRT offers acting, design,and stage management internships as well as other full- and part-time employment positions for Hope students.
