The international studies major is designed for students who plan to pursue a profession in which an international focus will be especially valuable.
It will prepare you for a life of service and success in a global society and for careers in fields such as business, economics, government and non-government organizations (NGOs), law, history, sociology and the arts.
In addition to Hope’s normal general education requirements, the international studies major consists of:
- 36 credit hours
- Two years of modern foreign language study
- A semester- or year-long international off-campus study program
