All registered students and current employees will receive an official Hope College ID card. Your ID must be presented to use the library or cafeteria, may be required for access to certain campus buildings, and may be needed for other college services and activities. It will be considered void if not validated for the current semester or term.

New students will receive their ID during Orientation. New employees must go to the Human Resources office to obtain an ID Authorization Form, and then come to our office to have the ID printed.

To replace a lost or damaged ID, go come into our office and complete the ID request form. Your new ID should be ready within a few minutes. It costs $20 to replace a lost or deliberately damaged (punch hole) student ID, and the fee will be billed to your student account. Faculty/Staff ID replacements are free.

We will not retake photos unless it has been over five years since you've had your official ID photo taken. These photos are also used on KnowHope Plus and Moodle; please see the ID Photo Use Policy for further information.

Old IDs can not be reactivated.

Lost, mutilated, or stolen ID cards must be reported to Campus Safety.
