Direct Loan Program Master
Promissory Note (MPN) As a student borrower under the Direct Loan Program you will sign one MPN. It will be used for all of your Direct Loans over multiple academic years. For example, if you enroll in college as a freshman and borrow under the Direct Loan Program for all years of study, you should be able to use this one MPN for all years. If you are a parent borrower under the Direct Plus Program and choose to take multiple loans for more than one academic year, you will sign one MPN. For example, if your child enrolls in college as a freshman and you borrow under the Direct Loan PLUS Program for all years of study, you should be able to use one MPN for all years, for up to 10 years. (If you apply with an endorser, the note is for that year only.) The electronic MPN allows you to complete and sign an MPN on the web. PERKINS
