National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS)

The National Student Loan Data System is a U.S. Department of Education central database for student aid. It shows federal student loans and Federal Pell Grants approved, the status of the loans and grant and amounts disbursed. Borrowers can access this information at www.nslds.ed.gov using their Federal PIN.

When accessing your information on NSLDS, you submit your Social Security Number, name, date of birth, and PIN on a secured website. This information is used to confirm that you are a federal aid recipient and to ensure that only authorized individuals have access to your personal data.

Aid recipients are encouraged to periodically review their NSLDS information.
