The American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) is pleased to offer several academic scholarships for students interested in accounting and business. Please check their website for eligibility, requirements, and award amounts. Deadlines range from December 15, 2008 to April 1st, 2009. Lions of Michigan Scholarship for the Visually Impaired offering one $3,000 scholarship to be awarded to a qualifying legally blind student. Per criteria, must provide a verification letter. Please check the scholarship criteria for further details. Deadline is December 31, 2008. Institute For Humane Studies offering Internships, and Scholarships of up to $12,000 for undergraduate pursuing their intellectual interests. a unique scholarship program for women pursuing a college degree
later in life. To be eligible for the Talbots
Women's Scholarship Fund, you must have earned a high school
diploma or GED on or before September 1999. Scholarships range
from $10,000
to $1,000.

2, 2009. Air & Waste Management Association - The East Michigan Chapter offering four scholarships in the amount of $1,500 to be awarded to students studying for a career in air pollution control, hazardous waste management or another environmental area. Scholarships must be used at a college or university in the State of Michigan. Deadline is February 28, 2009. MidMichigan Medical Center offering, The Bernard F. and Melissa Anne Bailey Family Fund Healthcare Scholarships, to students pursuing studies in clinical health care professions. Recreation Boating Industries Educational Foundation offering scholarships and educational programs to persons pursuing a career in the recreational boating industry. Nazareth Association of Kalamazoo in conjunction with alumni of the Borgess School of Nursing and the family of Marian Vyverman offering a $1,000 scholarship to a nursing student in Michigan. Available to all students registered at an accredited post secondary institution. Deadline is June 20, 2009. The BigSun Organization is proud to offer young athletes a chance at an annual scholarship. All student athletes, regardless of which sport they participate in, is eligible for the award.
