Aid for Students With Degrees

TYPES OF AID AVAILABLE TO STUDENTS
WHO ALREADY HOLD AN UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE

Students who have received an undergraduate degree from ANY institution are eligible to receive only limited forms of financial assistance. Available sources are:

To qualify, the student must be either pursuing a SECOND DEGREE (as documented by the Hope College Registrar and Degree Program Director, e.g., s/he already has a B.A. and is now enrolling to pursue a B.S. degree), or returning to secure a TEACHING CERTIFICATE (as documented by the Hope College Education Department). The student must be enrolled at least half time (6 credit hours). Eligible students must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to receive these loan funds.

This state program is based on financial need as determined by the FAFSA. Recipients must be Michigan residents. To qualify, the student must be either pursuing a SECOND DEGREE or returning to secure a TEACHING CERTIFICATE. The student must be enrolled at least half time (6 credit hours).

THE ALUMNI TUITION DISCOUNT
This Hope program is available ONLY to Hope College graduates. This 25% tuition discount is limited to those tuition charges remaining after the application of all other gift assistance (scholarships and grants) for which the student is eligible during the enrollment period in question. NOTE: This benefit is NOT applicable to off-campus study programs.
