School Districts

The Ottawa Area Intermediate School District (OAISD) includes the geographic boundaries of 11 area school districts.

The National Center for Educational Statistics (NCES) is the primary federal entity for collecting and analyzing data that are related to education in the United States and other countries. Exploring this site and its links to other pages will reveal a rich source of data from the national to the local levels.

The Michigan Department of Education provides data concerning state policies, programs, and performance pertaining to education. The Center for Educational Performance and Information is the department responsbile for collecting and reporting performance of the state's public K-12 schools. The Michigan School Readiness Program concerns "at-risk" four-year-olds.

Public School Rankings (PSK12) provides rankings on all K-12 public schools in Michigan and 28 other states. The rankings for Michigan are based on standarized tests that are part of the Michigan Education Assessment Program (MEAP).

School Matters provides information and analysis of public school districts to educate teachers, parents, and policymakers to make well-informed decisions that improve student performance. Data for each school district includes averages on standardized tests, yearly progress, tax revenue and spending, enrollment trends, class size, community demographics, and performance ratios of district to county to state.
