a two-step application process.

a completed Off-Campus Study Application to the appropriate faculty
program representative or office listed below. Applications can be picked up in the Fried International Center in the MMC.
All students must be approved to study off-campus prior to submitting the actual program application. To complete the Hope College

Select the program you plan to apply for and follow the prompts to complete the application. Should you have any questions, please contact the Fried International Center.
Students applying to study off-campus in the fall or academic year must complete the Hope College Off-Campus Study Application no later than February 1.
Students applying to study off-campus in the spring semester must complete the Hope College Off-Campus Study Application no later than October 1.
NOTE: Some programs have earlier application deadlines. If this is the case for the program to which you are applying, please follow the earlier deadline and be sure to
have your Hope application submitted and approved prior to submitting the program application.
2) Program Application
Once approved to study off-campus, candidates need to submit a completed program
application to the program provider (IES, CIEE, SIT, The Philadelphia Center, etc). This
application varies by program; be certain you know what is required for your specific
program. For most programs, information and application forms are available on the
program website. If you have difficulty locating the application and/or have questions
about the application, please contact the Fried International Center.
Hope students are encouraged to apply to the program no later than March 15 for fall and
academic programs; and October 15 for spring programs. These earlier dates are
encouraged as programs to fill up.
