Caribbean Christian Center for the Deaf Village

Jamaica has approximately 2,500 deaf children. Though they live in a country saturated with the Gospel, the island's deaf represent an unreached people group that is unable to hear the Good News of Christ. CCCD is eager to construct new facilities to accommodate these children so they can be taught sign language, given an education, and reached with the Good News.

CCCD's basic aim is to lead each student into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. CCCD has been blessed with the opportunity to provide a village for their graduates to live in after graduation. Jobs for deaf individuals are virtually non-existent, and many have no one to turn to when they return home after finishing their schooling. CCCD's Jamaican deaf village is growing to meet these needs. Even with the apartment building and factory now available for the first few deaf villagers, the vision is not complete. Come help by lending a hand in various construction projects at the village to help it continue to grow so that it can serve more of the graduates of CCCD.
