You will be working with Mr. Carlos Montoya, La Roca's Director, in a variety of ways to serve the poor and disadvantaged people of Tijuana.  The ministry supplies food to the homeless, has a jail ministry for youth offenders, and ministers to the children in the neighborhood.  The team will also set up games and prizes as well as make food for the children in the orphanage and the migrant worker families.  Another part of this trip is street evangelism and passing out tracks to those who have never heard the good news, especially in a neighborhood known for a prevalence of prostitution.  You will, as a team, perform skits along the way, sing some great Spanish worship songs, hear and share life changing testimonies, and play LOTS of soccer with the locals.   

There may also be an opportunity to assist in a building project for a day or two at "the ranch," a residential facility being built for La Roca.  You will be ministering to those who are in recovery and rehabilitation at "the ranch" and have turned their lives to Christ.  La Roca is affiliated with City Team Ministries.
