Apache, Oklahoma
Apache Reformed Church

Come to Apache Reformed Church for a wonderful opportunity to work with Native American persons of every age from kindergarten to the elderly.

Use your skills in drama, music, construction, crafts, inter-cultural relations and group dynamics.  Apache Reformed Church serves in ministry in rural southwestern Oklahoma.  Begun a century ago as a mission outpost to the Chiricahua (Ft.Sill) Apaches, the congregation now includes persons from other tribes such as Comanche, Kiowa, Pima, and Apache as well as persons of Hispanic, European and African heritage.

The church currently emphasizes ministry to children and youth, adult discipleship and leadership training, and physical and spiritual outreach to the surrounding community.

While here you will have rich opportunities to learn about local Native American heritage, participate in inter-cultural events, and meet local tribal leadership.
