Activate 08 Spring Break Service Trips

Registration Information

Students wanting to sign up for a Spring Break Mission trip may pick up a registration form at the Keppel House or print one from the website. Return your completed registration form to the Keppel House along with a $50 deposit by Sunday, Oct 28. Students will have the opportunity to indicate their top three preferences as to location, although it is the heart of this ministry that the desire to serve will heavily outweigh the desire to be placed on a particular trip. Three spots per trip will be saved for male students to ensure a semi-mixed gender group. Much prayer has gone into this process and we encourage you to also pray for extra measures of humility as you register. We are excited about what God is going to do!

Deposits will be non-refundable after December 1st.

If you are applying for placement on an international trip, please read:

• Due to the additional cost and responsibilities of traveling abroad, please request an international trip only after serious consideration by you and your key family members.  
• Although you will be encouraged to ask for financial and prayer support, you are ultimately responsible for the total cost of the trip (must be received by March 13, 2008). Support from friends and family (except you and your parents) is a tax deductible contribution.  In addition to the $50 deposit, you will be required to contribute an additional $200 by December 15.  If, due to world events beyond our control, a trip would need to be cancelled, contributions received would be used to fund your replacement trip or a future Hope College mission project.
• A list of all students who are interested in serving on an international mission trip must be reviewed and approved by Student Development.
• The Annville, Dulce, and Nicaragua trips are open only to pre-health majors (pre-med, nursing, pre-pt, pre-ot, pre-dent).
