Faculty Development Grants
Congratulations to our grant
recipients for summer 2013!
This year the review committee considered
33 grant applications requesting a total of approximately $160,000. From College endowment funds we awarded 31 grants, including 14 faculty/student cooperative research grants. In addition, 15 faculty appointed in 2012 will be supported this summer by start-up funds underwritten by the College. Added to all these grants are individual research awards obtained by many faculty members and annual summer stipends for holders of endowed chairs. The number of faculty supported by either internal or external funds is truly impressive.
