Upcoming Schedule of Events
Spring 2012 Registration is upon us!  Get in the know with this timeline, procedures and "Everything Registration"...  We have expanded our in-person registration time to accommodate the First Year Students.
Registration Week
NOVEMBER 7 - 11, 2011


Monday and Tuesday - Online Registration, 20+ earned credits
Wednesday AM - Online Registration CLOSES at 12Noon! Registration PINs expire.
Wednesday PM - 1:00PM In-person registration begins in the Registrar's Office for ALL First Time in College (FTC) and students with fewer than 20 earned credits. NEW for Spring 2012!
Thursday and Friday - Maas Auditorium, In-Person Registration continues for all FTCs and students with fewer than 20 earned credits.

Class enrollment is frozen at 5:00PM on Friday so each department can review and evaluate its wait lists.  Instructors can view their wait lists immediately on KnowHope Plus.
Wait List Week
NOVEMBER 14 - 18, 2011


Monday and Tuesday - Review wait lists, PDF copies to department chairs and secretaries.
Wednesday - Responses due, student permission to add from a wait list is due before 12Noon.
Thursday and Friday - Students register, those given permission to add from a wait list MUST come to the Registrar's Office to add the class.  During the same visit, students may drop class(es) in order to add the wait listed class(es).
5:00PM Friday - Wait lists purged. The Registrar's Office does not maintain wait lists after Friday.

Absolutely NO drop/add forms should be signed during the wait list period. Please honor the wait lists. We will ask the student to hold onto the form and bring it back during the drop/add period.

BEGINS MONDAY, NOVEMBER 21, 2011 


The drop/add period begins two weeks after registration and is allowed until the posted due date.

Deadlines for Drop/Add Permission:
First-Half
- Wednesday, January 18 
Full Semester - Wednesday, January 18  
Last-Half - Friday, March 9 

Professor permission is required to drop or add any course. A detailed e-mail to the student is acceptable (see below).

Academic Advisor (primary) permission is also required, except for section changes of the exact same course. An e-mail to the student is acceptable.

Registration PINs
  • Must have 20+ earned hours (No FTC students) 
  • This PIN is different from the regular KnowHope Plus PIN. 
  • Primary advisors distribute online registration PINs.    
  • PINs expire at 12Noon on Wednesday.   
Off-Campus Programs
  • Fall 2011, students currently studying off-campus do NOT need a registration PIN.
  • Spring 2012, students will be registered for the correct program by the Registrar's Office.    
Did you know?
  • Begin Time = the earliest time a student can register.
  • Restricted courses require permission. Details by each class on schedule.
  • First Year Students begin registering in-person at 1:00PM Wednesday.
