Safety Classes

Safety Update Class - All employees (full time,
part time, and Pool employees) working for Physical Plant, Transportation,
Campus Safety, CIT Technical Services must attend this annual one
hour safety update class. This class covers refresher and updated
information on Michigan Right to Know, Bloodborne Pathogens, Fire
Safety, Personal Protective Equipment in addition to required safety
procedures at Hope College. |

Safety Orientation Class - All new employees (full
time, part time, and pool employees) working for Physical Plant,
Transportation, Campus Safety, CIT Technical Services must attend
this four hour class. This class covers Michigan Right to Know, Bloodborne
Pathogens, Fire Safety, and Personal Protective Equipment in addition
to required safety procedures at Hope College. |

Fire Extinguisher Class - Employees wishing to
participate in a Fire Extinguisher Class may sign up for this class
by contacting the Occupational Health and Fire Safety Office at X7999

First Aid CPR Class - Employees wishing to participate
in a First Aid CPR class may sign up for this class by contacting
