7:30 pm Pipe Organ Encounter Recitals, Third Reformed Church
Free faculty recital open to the public at Third Reformed Church, 111 West 13th Street. Performers include Paul Barte, Margaret Evans, James Kibbie, Peter Kurdziel, Cherry Rhodes, Karl Schrock, and Linda Strouf. The recital is part of the Pipe Organ Encounter (POE) organ camp for teenagers, which is co-sponsered by Hope this week. The POE in Holland is one of seven of these events this summer nationwide.

The exhibition will feature 30 drawings, watercolors and oil paintings by Holland native Lyman Jellema. From the early sketches from life drawings classes to more experimental landscapes, his journey from student to artist is explored. The public is invited. Admission is free.
