Welcome to Transportation
The Hope College Transportation Department meets the various transportation needs of faculty, staff, and students.
The Transportation Department maintains and rents vehicles from our College-owned motor pool for faculty, staff, and student organizations conducting College business. Transportation schedules vehicles based on availablity and occupancy to best utilize our resources. Vehicles in Hope's fleet are maintained by staff on a regular basis to ensure a vehicle's safety and operational efficiency.
The Transportation Department also offers various off-campus rides for students. This includes shuttles to and from Gerald R. Ford International Airport in Grand Rapids during the academic year. Education-majors may utilize the education placement shuttles to safely and affordably get to field placements if they don't have a car on campus. For other student needs, such as medical appointments, internships, or volunteering, the Transportation Department offers rides by appointment in the local Holland and Zeeland area.
