A pre-college program designed to help students develop the motivation and ablilities required to successfully finish high school and enter college.

Upward Bound helpes students in grades 9-12 to:

-Improve personal and academic skills

-Explore career options and professions

-Finish high shool

-Enroll in the college or university of the student's choice.

To participate students must:

-Be from a low income household or be a first generation college student (parents don't have a four college degree)

-Be 14 years or older

-Be in grades 9 through 12

-Have the desire to successfully finish high school and go to college

Nothing! Program participation is absolutely free to those students who qualify.
