Academic Coaches work with TRiO Upward Bound high school level students to facilitate students' understanding and mastery of their academic subject matter and provide general assistance and instruction in study skills, time management, organization, and other skills related to student success.

Office Assistants works with the Upward Bound staff to provide general office assistance. Desired qualifications include:

• Ability to relate well to the public and on the telephone
• Effective office (clerical / secretarial), time management, and organizational skills
• Computer literate and knowledge of Windows, word processing (preferably MS Word), spreadsheets (preferably Excel), and desktop publishing
• Discreet, flexible, resourceful, dependable, friendly, and professional.
• Ability to balance and prioritize multiple tasks

Van Drivers transport to local high school students in passenger vans for Upward Bound coaching sessions. Job responsibilities include the ability to:

• Operate a passenger van safely and efficiently
• Follow specific regularly scheduled routes and/or scheduled activities Accurately complete driver trip sheet for each shift with information including vehicle number, pick-up and drop-off times, and mileage
