Dance

Take advantage of semester study programs in Chicago, New York City, Philadelphia, and study abroad at Liverpool Hope, Querétaro (Mexico), or at Centre de Danse du Marais (Paris, France).
  • Dancers can participate in four annual student-produced concerts, an annual mainstage dance concert and theatre productions.
  • Students are eligible to audition for affiliated ensembles, including dANCEpROjECt, InSync Dance Theatre and Strike Time Dance Company, as well as participate in Sacred Dance, Ballet Club or Hip Hop Anonymous.
  • Prospective dance majors and minors can apply for the Distinguished Artist Award, a scholarship that is renewable up to four years.
  • Dance faculty members specialize in modern, ballet, jazz, and tap, as well as in various areas of dance theory.
  • Hope has five well-equipped dance studios and two performance venues.
  • The Department of Dance is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Dance.
