Home-Schooled Students

Our Admissions Office is experienced working with home-schooled applicants and can assist you in understanding admissions requirements, or answering questions about Hope. Students thrive in this safe and beautiful setting. Hope's Christian values provide both nurture and challenge.

In addition to the regular application requirements for Traditional First Year Students, you must include these items:

  • Home-schooled certification statement (PDF)
  • Letter of recommendation from a non-family member who is knowledgeable regarding the applicant’s academic potential.
  • Official transcripts from any college(s) attended

Admissions Decisions

Applications are submitted to the Admissions Committee as soon as all information has been receive. Students whose application is complete by November 1, 2011 will receive their decision by Thanksgiving. If an application becomes complete after November 1, it will be reviewed and such decisions will be mailed on a rolling basis. The Admissions Committee may withhold a decision for further information; applicants will be notified of such a need and asked to submit the additional information.
