Why I love Hope

I love Hope because of the positive community and the education that the school provides. The students, faculty and staff at Hope are so friendly and caring. You will see that even when you come for just a 2-hour visit!  It's easy for a student to get connected quickly which is really important as a freshman. Yes, the classes are rigorous, but Hope students will tell you that the professors are always available to assist them in achieving their goals!

After living in Europe as an adult, I continue to be impressed with all of the global and domestic internship/study abroad opportunities offered by Hope. I feel that these are so valuable to enable a student to be truly prepared for life in a global society!

Favorite Artist and AlbumI have a real eclectic mix of music choices: Journey, anything R&B, The Bee Gees (from my Miami days), Take That (British group), David Benoit, and anything Christmas!
Favorite TV Show and MovieModern Family, The Office, HGTV,  most "Chick Flicks" and recently "The Help".
Best thing about Holland, MichiganI love the downtown; great shopping and great restaurants and everyone is friendly!
