interesting fact

As a military brat, I was born in Germany and spent most of my formative years in the South. Despite growing up in a place where many Midwesterners would consider prime vacation territory, I was so glad to travel north and experience a real winter and a milder summer and fewer, smaller bugs.

college memory

The first thing that comes to mind is the time when I was a first-year student. It was my first winter here as a college student (but I’ve been in Michigan in the winter before). It was the first big snowfall. The RAs of Scott Hall (the residence hall where I lived) arranged an “unofficial” snowball fight in the Pine Grove at midnight. We all went out under cover of darkness and the madness ensued. It was so much fun!!! Everyone enjoyed it.
