Voorhees Hall

Voorhees Hall, completed in 1907 and renovated in 1981, was the college's first residence for women. A Dutch architectural style executed in red-orange Veneklaasen bricks, manufactured in nearby Zeeland for several decades, makes Voorhees a distinctive part of the Hope campus. It is named for Ralph and Elizabeth Voorhees, supportive donors in Hope's early history. Voorhees Hall is now a co-ed hall that has 53 rooms and can house 110 students.
