Gus Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago

We didn’t have to go far to find one of best jazz dance companies in the country. Setting the standard for over 30 years, GGJDC continues to breathe new life into jazz dance. A Heartland Arts Fund Program supported by the National Endowment for the Arts and Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs.

Wang Xiaohan Oct. 17, 8pm

A finalist in the 2002 Van Cliburn Piano competition, this 20-year-old from China is quickly capturing the attention of the United States. A composer as well, Wang surprised the audience and judges by performing one of his own pieces during the competition. Daring and talented.


Ahn Trio

These three sisters from Korea have captured the attention of Time Magazine, appeared on MTV, and are known for their fresh approach to classical music. But these Juilliard-trained sisters are first and foremost a talented trio.
