"Bria Ebels, a senior guard at Hope College, scored a team-best 18 points and had six rebounds, four assists and four steals in a 69-56 win over Southern Maine that gave the Flying Dutch the NCAA Division III championship. She led the team to a school-record 33 wins and was named the Final Four's Most Outstanding Player." (4/10/06)

"Kelly Parker, a junior at Hope College in Holland, won the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association women's championship in the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke -- the same events her father, Randy, won while competing for Albion (Mich.) College from 1973 to '75." (4/8/02)

"Josh Boss, a junior at Hope College in Holland, Mich., was named the Division III men's swimmer of the year after winning the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke at the division championships. "Jennifer Smith, a senior at Hope College, was named the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association's MVP in her sport after winning the MIAA singles title, pairing with Julie Murray to win the doubles crown and leading the Flying Dutch to the team championship."
