Hope 6, Northern Arizona 4
The Flying Dutchmen clinched fifth place at the American Collegiate Hockey Association national tournament for the fourth time in school history by defeating Northern Arizona State University 6-4. The Flying Dutchmen won four of five games at the national comopetition.

San Diego State 6, Hope 1
The Flying Dutchmen suffered a 6-1 loss to San Diego State in the second round of the national tournament of the American Collegiate Hockey Association in Rochester, Minn. San Diego led 3-0 after the first period and 6-1 heading into the final period. Hope's goal was scored by Austin Sonneveldt assisted by Dan Bolt. Goalkeeper Stephen Pels had 21 saves. The Flying Dutchmen (24-3-0-1) drop into the consolation bracket where they'll face Albany State, N.Y. on Friday.

Hope 5, Fairfield, Conn. 3
The Flying Dutchmen opened play in the national tournament of the American Collegiate Hockey Association in Rochester, Minn. with a 5-3 victory over Fairfield, Conn. Scoring two goals apiece were junior Ryan Kelly and senior Gunnar Martin. The fifth goal was scored by sophomore Mike Ruszkowski. Assists were credited to Maarten Galantowicz 2, Dan Bolt 2, Brett Kopinski 2, and Mike Ruszkowski. Goalkeeper Mike Headley had 24 saves. Hope (24-2-0-1) advances to Thursday's quarterfinal round in the 16-team tournament against San Diego State, also a 5-3 winner over the University of Tennessee in a Wednesday match.
