Join us pre-orientation on an adventure packed trip to Northern Michigan. Hike the Sleeping Bear Dunes, meander through old-time Mackinaw Island, tandem-bike around the island located in Lake Michigan, race around a go-kart course, eat s'mores, kayak, rock climb, swim.... the opportunities are endless.

If you are a new international student to Hope College, you are welcome to join us! Please contact the International Education Office to confirm your participation and submit the required Arrival Form. The cost (transportation, lodging and meals) is covered through a generous gift to the College to specifically introduce international and TCK students to beautiful Michigan.

Throughout the year, we will organize field trips to a traditional American baseball game, the Frederick Meijer Garden, cross-country ski through Pigeon Creek Park, and provide you with many opportunities to truly experience our beautiful state.
