Favorite Course: Florentine Renaissance Art

Favorite Memory: Can I say everything? The art was breathtaking, the food was delicious, the wine was perfect, the people were beautiful, the language was amazing, the culture was spectacular. I loved living with my host momma and host nonna, and walking past the Duomo on my way to class everyday. Eating gelato for lunch was just what I needed most days, and spending nights at Friends Pub among true friends was a real blessing. My favorite 'art moment' was getting a private tour of St. Marks cathedral in Venice at night and seeing the ceiling, which is mosaiced entirely in 24-carat gold, all lit up and shimmering was an experience that nearly brought me to tears. It was so amazing. I will be back there someday!
