Hope College Tennis Academy
2008 Hope College Tennis Brochure
Sessions will meet at the West Ottawa
High School tennis courts and will last from 10:30 A.M. –
3:30 P.M. They will include on-court drills, tennis specific
footwork drills, a weightlifting program specifically designed
for tennis, classroom instruction on strategy and mental toughness,
and most importantly, competitive matches supervised by the
pro staff. The academy will focus on helping player’s
grades 7-12 improve their game through match play and will
teach the art of competition, not simply striking the ball
well.
